I’ve been managing to do some sewing, the priority being on something nice for Anneli to wear for George & Eli’s wedding next weekend. I’ve made a dress & bloomers combination:

And since the wedding is in Spain, I’ve made a sun hat to keep her precious skin safe:

We also bought the little one a pair of sunnies:

We ordered ourselves a sofa back at the start of January, and finally received it just a few weeks ago. It’s a big beautiful leather corner sofa – perfect for the whole family to recline and watch a film. We are watching a lot more TV nowadays

Anneli thinks it’s pretty good. Luckily she hasn’t learnt to roll off it yet, so she often has naps on a sheepskin in the corner (with a little wall of cushions, just in case she suddenly learns to roll while we’re not watching)

I have added a few new-old photos to Anneli’s gallery (“old” in that they were taken a while ago, “new” in that they haven’t been on the web yet).

Anneli has recently started smiling, but the elusive smiles are difficult to catch on camera. I managed to get some fleeting grins on video and catch a screen shot:
