My wish list
This page is where I dream about stuff I’d like to have, and for all you generous people out there who want to buy me lots and lots of lovely and very expensive gifts (you know you do!)

One important note for everyone – pleeeeeaaaaaaase do not give me clothing unless I’ve specifically asked for something – we have serious storage problems!
Sewing stuff I want
- Fabric – quilting bundles or just interesting bits & pieces. Any colour but pink.
- A walking foot and a freemotion quilting foot for my sewing machine (Brother PX100).
- A bias ruler, and a french curve ruler (in metric).
Knitting stuff I want
- Yarn, yarn, yarn. I can never have too much yarn. I don’t like those fluffy novelty or “eyelash” yarns and I prefer natural fibres. Sock yarn is always good, such as something from Three Irish Girls or Needle Food. Any colour but pink.
- A subscription to Piecework magazine.
Gardening stuff I want
- A greenhouse. Not a proper wood & glass fancy shmanzy greenhouse (because one day we’ll rebuild the house and might have to move it), but a cheap plastic one to satisfy our need for LOTS of tomatoes
- Wild garlic bulbs
Other stuff
- Knee-high socks. Not pink. I love long socks to keep my legs warm when it’s chilly, but most of my current socks were from the “3 pairs for £5″ stand of a crappy store on Oxford St, so they’re falling apart at the moment.
Joint stuff that Linus & I both want
- A pair of sheepskin car-seat covers, because our leather seats can be CHILLY.
