My old dishcloths made in September 2009 finally wore out.

So I dipped into some assorted cotton yarns I had acquired, and knitted three new ones.

I like the candy colours, although they aren’t quite as bright any more.  I think that may have something to do with a recent red wine re-bottling episode, though.  They are nice & nubbly and thick, but they still dry out well and don’t get stinky, which is the ultimate result really.
