I got some help planting onions this morning.

Elsewhere in the vege patch, the garlic I planted in the autumn is well on its way.

Chives are up all over the place … They spread themselves a little more every year

And speaking of spreading, last year’s mint plant is coming back with a vengeance. Roll on mojito season!

When I came in for lunch, I found some of last year’s pumpkin soup in the freezer.

Does a Saturday morning get much better than that?

  1. those little fingers are just the right size to plant the tiny inions. Great effort Frida!. It is amazing how the chives handle the winter cold and come back so soon. are you going to do a sunflower field this year? xxx

  2. easter treats look yummy! xxx

  3. We had to transplant our mint into a big bucket that we buried in the garden. Even at 3000m, mint grows like mad and takes over the garden!
